I use a Line 6 Variax 300 connected through a VDI cable to a Line 6 PODxt Live for my effects.

  • its almost right missing few playing =]

  • @slashnpraise Maybe Mr Hendroff dosen't use chorus but some songs from hillsong use chorus, There and usually more than two guitarists though so it isnt really nessesary. Besides what;s wrong with doing something that hllsong dosent

  • u slighty destort it and use the wah just like it sounds

  • thanks slashnpraise, you're right on, tried those settings at home and that is the actual authentic Mighty To Save sound.

cheath432 YOU SUCK at using effects! plexi variacs suck, and chorus is a definite NO for hillsong. lol

  • okay, even though everything i said is backed up by the videos on youtube. plus, they're not sing qaurter note anolog delay, they're using a dotted-eighth with tap tempo. better luck next time tho! =]

  • you apparently have NO idea what ur talking about. lol

  • nice but that's not gonna cut through in a live band situation. Nigel Hendroff uses:

    A Mesa Boogie Rectifier/Vox AC30

    Boss DD-5 Digital Delay

    Boss OD-3 Overdrive

    and Vox 187 Wah

Hillsong doesn't like chorus so get rid of it. Search Hillsong Creative DVD on youtube to check out Nigel's gear for yourself

  • awesome, thanks

  • i used the plexi variac amp with the tube screamer. A little bit of analog chorus and some analog delay set with a quarter note at 152bpms. with about 33 percent fdback and 34 percent mix

  • tell me what effects you used? im looking for that sound
