Pokemon - catching Arceus part 1

Well I decided to upload the video of a full battle to catch Arceus since I've been searching around recently for a way to overcome its recover, yet I mostly only found videos of people using pokeball cheats to snag it in merely a single ball. Anyway enjoy =D

I used a computer emulator though, but I guess there would not be anything different with the battle since everything else is still the same.

PS: For those of you wondering what taunt does, it disallows the victim from using non-offensive moves. This an extremely useful move to counter Arceus's recover and serves good use in competitive battling too against certain pokemon such as Blissey, baton-pass buffers or annoyers.

Hey, your strategy is quite intelligent, but here's a more simple one:

- Breed a Shroomish with the move False Swipe. It is weak, but since Breloom has a wopping attack base of 130, this should be more than fine.

- Level the Shroomish up to learn Spore, the best sleeping move in the game.

- on your then evolved Breloom, toast some other significant moves - like Seed Bomb for weaking it down faster so you use False Swipe for the 1 HP refinement, and Taunt.

Well that could work, but considering that Arceus has whopping base stats, Breloom won't reduce it to 1HP easily and as long as Arceus gets one or two hits in on the turn it wakes up, that could be the end of Breloom. Plus, my strategy is designed to effortlessly reduce Arceus to 1HP every time it recovers.

Well, that's right, but then there's another strategy I successfully used on Heatran (remember the typing and sp atk-stat) - Breloom + Toxic Orb (Toxic regeneration of 1/8 each round, better than Leftovers; meaning in only 2 rounds, your Substitute damage is compensated) and Substitute instead of Taunt (which would mean you would have to reweaken it after every recover, but it just works fine like that actually). Works beautifully.

If you watch my other video, I'm actually a proud Breloom-abuser in the battle tower. Haha. I'm fairly familiar with Breloom's strategies, so I'd reckon I know how to use it.

I mean, I certainly didn't try it on Arceus so it could work better or worse; I don't know.

And yeah, Breloom power! <:D (But srsly, using a Regigigas in Battle Tower like Palmer did would be certainly suicide, I mean, come on, you know how fast battles in the Battle Tower are, he would have never gotten those 5 rounds D:)

His moveset reflects his poor choices too. Crush Grip is just phail.

Ah lol, the only hard part of battle tower are the AIs with insane luck, like those kind of gullotine + quick claw Crawdaunts that immediately KO your pokemon before you can do anything, or the bright powder abusers who somehow manage to dodge 3 of your 100% accuracy moves in a row.

@princesspeachfanyay Dusk Balls work 2x better than Ultra Balls if you are in caves or it's night time. :P So why don't you take care of your period already and stop bitching at people. >.<

seriously u have to use a ultra ball or master ball to catch arceus not a dusk ball omg HOW STUPID
