Burp - Dayle the African Grey

This is Dayle, my mom's Congo African Grey parrot. She is enjoying some time outside and going through a myriad of things she likes to say and sounds she likes to imitate. You will hear her call my cat, "Puma", you will hear her do the "fall and splat" whistle, lots of clucking and other sounds and sneezes, but best of all you will hear Dayle burp. Yep... burp.

I'd have to say we can firmly plant the blame on this learned sound on my Pop. At least my Mom taught her to be polite, eh?

You have a griffon cockatoo? I love them!  In fact, if I had time for a parrot I would have either a cockatoo or my dream parrot - a Hiacynth McCaw (can you say PRICEY?). Dayle has a huge vocabulary, but only picks up what she wants to say. She doesn't always perform on command. That footage was just her chattering away to herself, saying whatever she felt like saying. More than anything, she loves to immitate sounds. She also plays "dead bird" - lays on her back with her head down.

Thanks for your comments. Dayle is very entertaining. I just got a new camera and i hope to get more footage of her antics and post them on YouTube. You should hear her fart noises. LOL!!!

love it! here kitty kitty! lol like the huge belch! My grey doesnt quite do the burp yet. does fart tho. I have a few videos on my channel (bo the african grey) and one of them he mimics a phone call. Dials the number and everything!

yes a cockatoo you now your birds i did not want to say cockattoo on commints cause the wieredos would leave nasty commint his name is babe HEE IS ABUOT 13 INCH LONG FROM HEAD TO TALE TIP thay are bad birds an verey smart but seem to take offenc if you try to make them do somthing that means auto bite then stichest thay love to destroy everthing if excape win your not home but i woulden trade him for the world even tho he cus me all the time he he i not research be 4 i got but no why cal grifn
