war is the failure of man
-
"Love thy enemy" strongly implies not killing them.

@ohthehumanity612 Sure they would. A dead kid can't write a letter. Any communication from a soldier is longed for by their loved ones and is confirmation that they are likely still alive. It's the military car coming up the drive to personally inform the next of kin of a dead child or spouse that nobody wants to see.

@erictwelve "new" context, rofl, no... the video does not match the song at all, and completely misses the point

song and video match rather well, reason being the wives beg for a letter because if the get one they know their true love is still alive, if the husband is dead then official Representatives show up to inform you. the song is representing the hope they have and the video is showing the truth they have to face

God said that the only kind of murder that is ok is in war. I believe in the war we are in!

Will someone please make a wikipedia for this girl? She's amazing.

i like this movie, this song, and this band a lot. i think its a good vid for what it is....

sounds like he's chewing gum while he's singing. i do like the song though.
this video totally takes the song out of context. in the song, they're almost begging for a letter. someone with kids in a war i doubt they'd be asking the postman for a letter every time they see them. TARD.
