I totally agree, this song and the Cossack castle stage 3-4 and wily 3-4 from Megaman 4 are my personal favorites. Give those two a try, they are highly underrated!!!

@ThePooman101 I think because it fits stage one so well. You're on the outskirts of the castle, on the outside trying to break in. Step one of sacking Wily's fortress begins now. BAM galvanizing music! There's a wind-at-your-back feel to it. By the time you get all comfy and warm in stage 2 going Item 2 over all those spikes and locating your crash bombs for all those gates, that tune has lost its luster. Maybe stage 1 with its orange glory is just a more memorable stage as well.

what i dont understand, is why people say that Megaman 2 Wily Stage 1 is Wily Stage 1. Its Wily Stage 1 and 2.
