Natural Infant Hygiene or Elimination Communication (EC) is a method of meeting our babies toileting needs that began ages back with our ancestors.

This method is still widely practiced around the world. Only in this Western culture does it sound out of the norm because we've become so accustomed to the idea that babies are unable to hold and release their urine and feces.

The intuitive feelings that we experience with breastfeeding are the same feelings we experience when toileting our babies. Just as we can see the signs our babies give us when they are hungry and desiring to nurse, down to us being able to determine that we should be preparing to nurse our babies soon based upon their last feeding, is the same way it works with natural infant hygiene or EC.

The Most High has created that connection between each mother and her baby...that bond...that oneness. It was his intention that we know how to meet all the needs of our children and he created us with this in mind.

Most of the products that have been created today are created with convenience in mind. Convenience to our detriment in just about every way. When it comes to our children, those things that are convenient only serve in the end to take away from the connections that could be made between us and our children.

That's the way Babylon has always worked...where "things" become the replacement for human bonding and companionship.

  • What a wonderful mother you are. How do you manage to do things around the house though? How do you manage to cook, etc.?

  • So it's a case of patience, for a while, reading the signs the baby gives just before wanting to go?

  • @QueenByTaste Thank you, that's great!

  • @1robinsong Lol!
