the are in Michigan right now, I consider them an awesome sight and I also consider them a rare sight even though there numbers are good. Many people will live there wholes lives never seeing these.

I am a proud rescuer of a Black Head Grosbeak.. they can cross breed with he Rose brested grosbeak... That is very weird how that Rosie ened up in Arizona!!! That's where Black Heads live!!!! :D

I know! We have blackheads all over the place, but I had no idea they could cross breed. Thanks for the info! Oh - check out my most recent rose breasted grosbeak visitor. Do you think it could be the same one?

I love it when they show up where they're not supposed to be - my guess is that we don't know half of what there is to know about the habits and habitats of these creatures:)
