4th in a series of history demolished: a lucky prune.

These are clips of the rest of the day after the demolition of this historic house. The rubble, my now-charcoal look, the departure of the crew, and a 'no lonely hearts' Valentine's Day dinner at neighbor Joe's house. May we all find a lucky prune.

  • The only thing that is constant in this world, is change - wow :)

  • Mother, you said it, and Mother "O" of the W.O.W. concurs...I'm looking for some all the time :D

  • Ahh... Life does go on, doesn't it? What a marvelous thing to have such an excellent group of friends. Beautifully rendered, Liz.. the superimposing of continuing life over the ending of that beloved space.

  • Hi Cindy, and thank you again. The making of these vids will prove helpful to me in more ways than one.....

"I get by with a little help from my friends"

    ...without a doubt :)

  • Another really interesting and well-made video, thanks Liz! I liked to see how the house looked before too, sad to see it as rubble now though, I have a feeling you feel the same way!:)

  • Thank you, Anthony; oh, yes.....and I've seen much grander structures than this one demolished here... sad it is.

  • You have my thanks for your perseverance; you're still ze Saint :) (We'll fix that one easy enough!)

Your mention to me of how Australia treats structures over a hundred years interests me and I've been intending to look into that topic online.

Thank you, Saint; your approval is always good to have, you know. And my thoughts have gone to other sources of distribution more than a few times now :)

  • Only one way to do this! YouTube glitches agghh*

This is progress?...*rolls eyes*! It's as though a genteel, noble old soul is being prematurely buried by a cretinous horde.

The CAT 345 may look cool but beneath it's face of destruction lies the death of history. So sad.

Beautifully made and expressed, Liz; this vid has not been seen enough, nor the series.

  • Thx! :DDDDD

  • *****

  • or try chocolate with fresh raspberries :)

When I looked in the mirror I was so surprised! (and can you imagine the concentration necessary to drive that thing?)

My home? Who knows what the future brings, but when the large complex behind me is demolished very soon, I'll be like an island, and ripe for 'something' to change.... :)

  • the machine is cool; but the number of demolishing this historic home is one I don't care for..

the guys worked smoothly together like a machine. they worked like a business team that had been doing this for a long time. nah, they were way cool lol..we shared some laughs...when we could hear each other, that is :) Thanks, Wolf...
