Rep. Randy Hultgren (R-IL) now says oil subsidies could be cut. In 2011, Hultgren voted to extend billions in oil subsidies. However, after being asked about the subsidies in a town hall, he says they may deserve to be eliminated.

Hultgren is a two-faced hypocrite who tells his constituents what he thinks they want to hear while he helps the rich get richer. He should be thrown out on his tail.

I'm going to go and find out why I vote to give billions of dollars to the corporations that then give me millions of dollars to keep getting me elected AND give me a cushy job paying even more when I'm done in government. I'm gonna get right on that!

"I'll look into that. I want to have the answer." Because the entire goal of the GOP is to keep us dependent on oil even as prices rice along with global temperatures. Why do you think we subsidize oil corporations but can't create jobs building modern rail infrastructure?

Tea party/koch bros. promoted freshman senators are unaware of the fact that republicans have a deal with big oil, insurance, pharmaceutical, banking and other multinational conglomerates. The republicans give away billions of tax dollars to them and in return they receive 10's of millions in donations.

Agree 100%. It was a typical right wing response. Attack the messenger to distract from the message. Push the corporate propaganda at all costs.
We are at war here, folks. Except for the WWII fascist Axis Powers there has never been a greater threat to this nation than the multinational fascists we face now, not even the old Soviet Union. And this threat is from within. Wake up America.
