The "Crazy Religious Cult" was Christian Brothers Carpet Cleaners, run by the Church of Bible Understanding, New York City in the late 1970's. I would love to ask Steve O'Donnell how he came to write this bit. He definitely captured the spirit of this cult I was a member of. The DVD extras make no mention of the cult, and only mentions that they think Steve wrote this part.
"my name is Tania" lol, patty hearst reference, classic.

A salad making company came to my door today asking if I wanted them to make a free salad for me. I didn't think anything of it and let them in to make me it. However, this was when they tried to tell me that being a salad maker was the best job in the world and would not stop at trying to make me join their business. It sounded all too familiar to this incident.
The best part however was that the woman who came to my door was named Tanya

Some guy just came to my door asking to clean my carpet. I hoped he was part of a cult but alas he was just trying to sell a Kirby vacuum.
