  • Oh, child you are too funny! "obviously know nothing about"? You're 24 for christ sake! I was commissioned an officer & sent to my 1st appointment a yr. before YOU were born, kid. I did more for your imaginary god, patrolled more streets, helped more homeless, preached more mssgs, led more street services, knocked on more doors at Red Shield, stood more hrs. on Xmas kettles, conned more people into believing in it, than you'll do in your young lifetime. Child, I KNOW what I'M talking about.

  • Just curious, but what caused you to turn your back on Christ who gave everything for you? And actually I am 25. And I am sure that since you are soooo much older than me than you know more than me, but know that I just prayed for you. And thank you for what service you did give to the Kingdom. God Bless

  • If you really wanted me to get out than you wouldn't be so condescending. "Kid" "Son" And I love how because I am and Christian and Salvationist that I have a weak faith that was brainwashed into me by a Cross and a Red Shield. The fact of the matter is that my faith is stong b/c I cling to Truth. One that has been revealed to me through questioning the status qou. Questioning the teaching of the Bible and The Salvation Army. My faith is strong and unwavering for my God is real and righteous

  • @Barndancer61 If Jesus isn't your Lord and Savior, the day you die is going to be the worst day of your life...you will find out that this world we live in isn't worth all that you think it is and you'll see God and realize that He gave you mercy and a chance to love Him but since you didn't you'll never have that chance again and you'll be separated from Him forever. I implore you to get over your pride, humble yourself and accept God's forgiveness over your life through the death of Jesus.

  • @Barndancer61As you know, His sheep know Him, for they hear His voice and obey Him.To such people belongs the sweet fellowship of the savior.I do not know how you could leave Him, if ever you knew Him.This is what I find hard to believe. And indeed, this is umbelievably sad.You will run out of time someday.Consider that Gods mercy today, if it does not lead you to repentence, will be all the more wrath for you for eternity (we all have an appointment with death). You are gambling with your soul

  • @Barndancer61 I have found more reality in Him evidenced by, not only His presence and answers to prayer, but also in the changed life I now live.I would not lie to you, He has changed my heart towards sins I onced loved; people I onced hated; goals I onced cherished. He has changed my perception of reality.

  • @Barndancer61 I was in Chicago, and He changed my heart four years ago.I cant shake it away. No im not perfect. I've backslid into drinking and smoking--but He has continued to pull me away. Today, I am FREE from those empty pleasures! My friends are still waiting for the day I'll realize the lie that is Jesus. But I cant shake Him away. He pursues me, fills my heart with fire, and is real to me. Yes, I have doubted at times. But I have lived on both sides of reality.

  • @Barndancer61 1/2 I should tell you, perhaps I am a little different. I have only been a christian for 4 years now.I come from a non-religious family (neither of my parents believed in Jesus, and they still dont today). I have maintained a close group of five friends since middle school, and all are athiests. I know that sounds weird, but it's true. All my close friends are feverent non-believers (one even has "Athiest" tatooed across his forearm).I was like them. But Jesus saved me unexpectedly

  • @klein1626 - You're preaching to the songster brigade.I can't believe how much you remind me of myself when I was your age -spouting out all the same worn-out, unoriginal, antiquated phraseology and cliches, regurgitating the same old assumptions and illogical, unproven clap trap. When I was in my mid-20's I began to question and realize that the doubts I had were for a reason (you have just as many doubts about this nonsense as I did, though, like me you, I denied it continually).

  • @Barndancer61 Brother, What caused you to find "out there was no 'Christ'"? I do not know what I can say to you. If Christ has saved you, He will turn you to repentence and finish the work He began in you. But if not, if you die in your sins, then you never knew Him.Truth is, He will not refuse you His tender mercies and forgiveness. He will continue to strive for your sake, that you would know Him, until you utterly refuse all His efforts. Why believe a lie and go to hell? He is real and loves u
