For anyone to think that Obama chose this school because of race is pathetic. TBO that the only reason you may think he did I grew up on the opposite side of town in Memphis and like the southside we went through alot. This community along with some of these students have witnessed there homes being destroyed and fellow classmates to fall victims of the street. They have showed tremendous effort, hard work and dedication to graduate from high school.

I really hate it when people down Obama and pin point the things that he hasn't done YET ! . People has to understand that Bush fucked us up, 8 years worth. He sent us to war which increased our debts and taxes. He was pretty much greedy just like his father. Now Obama has to clean up EIGHT years worth of Bush's Bullshit ! . So of course he's not gonna accomplish EVERYTHING within 4 years. He has done alot. More jobs, Better health care,Osama Dead ! . Troops are expected to come home. So STFU !

@Jul4810 your terribly wrong. The u.s. was flourishing economically until 2005. then with the new democratic congress that got elected in. thats when the recession happened. Bush had done a fanatastic job until democrats got into power, and passed stuff such as fannie mae and etc. they crashed the housing market and everything fell through. you need to quit reading your newspapers and quit watching television. and look at reality. Pres obama has done a terrible job. worse than Bush.
