The only time I'd ever seen Wendy was when she was on a short-lived TV series called, "Wendy Hooper, US Army." It was in 1981, right after "Private Benjamin" became a hit. I only recently heard of Wendy's death. I was shocked that she died at such a young age. She was talented, and beautiful.

I believe Wendy Holcombe died from complications from surgery to correct a hole i her heart. Wendy Holcombe, I still remember you with your pigtails and braces hopping around on the stage with your banjo on "Nashville on the Road". You are definitely missed and you left us way too soon.
