One of the most spectacular examples of crocodile movement, filmed by John Downer Productions for the programme "Weird Nature". The crocodiles were directed by Adam Britton from Big Gecko (http://crocodilian.com/big-gecko ). Crocodiles can move in several ways on land, and Australian freshwater crocodiles (Crocodylus johnstoni) exhibit one of the most spectacular forms of locomotion - galloping. This video shows crocodiles crawling, high-walking and galloping. This sequence used with permission, and copyright remains with the owner.

  • I doubt it said that. Several croc species gallop, although freshies are probably the best known example (and one of the best at it).

  • Good old Crocodylus johnstonii, thanks for sharing :)
