Hi Cheers!
You're true, Krb68691, the very true test is "(P*T)". For Lasersaber, yes, he makes very good job, but still have missing checking, like exact (P*T)... and even if no battery, we have to remember that a capacitor is a kind of battery if well used. Only time discharge in passive resistances with comparison with non "thief" circuits should be valid for oveunity testing. but any way, even without this, you make all very good job for the General Interest :-bd

Yes, I believe I agree with you. I have never claimed that the JT circuit is OU, However, there are some guys on OU.com that are playing with a circuit that "appears" it might be. I have never built one like that. When I modded a flashlight that had 3 AA bats and only ran like 2 hours...with a JT it now runs like 10 hours on a single AA. I think we are talking efficiency here. Plus, if your friends give you "dead" batteries...then it is free.

Hi, Interesting video, but I cant understand what the fuji circuit is, is it out of a camera or something ?
Thom in Scotland.

@fuelban
Yes, it is a joule thief circuit made by modifying the circuit board from a Fuji AA disposable camera. All technical info is at overunity,com in the joule thief topic area.

this came from a carea?

Yes, a Fuji AA disposable camera. Check out overunitydotcom in the joule thief section and also my other videos using this simple circuit.

@Pirate88179 Ah okay that makes sense. The duty cycle extends the lifetime. Boosting both the volts and therefore the amps would not necessarily cause it to be an overunity device. We are talking about a battery here, and the circuit is rapidly oscillating. When voltage is increased, current is increased if resistance stays the same. This circuit rapidly oscillates therefore if you were to calculate energy (P*T), the time would be an extraordinarily small blip.

In addition, I just checked the OU forum and 2 guys are lighting an led on 5 micro watts for a very long time. Some others are trying to get this circuit to self-run but, that has not happened yet. Check out Lasersaber, he can light a cfl after removing the battery (AA) and it stays lit for more than a few minutes. They are getting closer. To be honest, the stuff these guys are doing is beyond me.
