The final elimination - Third place - Dancing with the stars - Season 12 (Finale)

After all the performances, the judges' scores and people's voting were combined. So...in third place were Chelsea Kane and Mark Ballas, leaving Kirstie Alley & Maksim Chmerkovskiy and Hines Ward & Kym Johnson 'fighting' against each other for the Mirror Ball Trophy and the victory.

@avialavigne123 no i think its because he and derek attract the girls. if they both got booted, then the girls wouldnt watch. ratings would go down. lets not forget his dad is lead choreographer. and he's no better then the rest of the pros. they are all good equally. its a reality show.....emphisis is on the word SHOW. its all rigged. chelsea was not the best. ive been watching since season 2. i could point out many mistakes and she gets good scores. yet others dont make as many & get bad 1's

@avialavigne123 well its a good thing it wasn't up to the judges. People just love Kirstie more I guess. Kirstie has danced eveyday after this competition. Maks has dance studios called "Dance With Me" and some of his dancers from there have traveled with Kirstie so she can dance everyday. She went to Italy this fall and other countries and performed, not to mention she performed at Maks "Dance with Me" show events, which can be found on youtube. So to say she can't dance would be UNCORRECT. TY!

@wildcat2114 no not bullshit. eventually, everyone is going to get tired of watching derek hough and mark ballas winning it EVERY season! Its getting a little ridiculous! im glad that chelsea didnt win. what kind of show would u like to watch where in every season mark ballas and derek keep going to the finals and keep coming in 1st place every week! it would get boring! give derek and mark their own show, u followers go watch it and give the other pros a chance. Tony needs to win a season!

If this wasn't a damn popularity contest, Chelsea and Mark would have won.

Kirstie and Hines just get votes because they're more 'known'. Since most people that watch this aren't kids, or rather, the majority that watches this isn't under 18, they don't know Chelsea that well. They need to know Chelsea is the most down to earth celebrity - and person. She doesn't make headlines for dancing around like Miley or for cutting herself like Demi. If judges chose, Chelsea would win for sure.
