  • Techno crap.

  • Thanks to your tips i successfully made a industrial song in fl studio...so thanks man.

  • i love how your first band you think of is one of my friends band haha sick

  • I see what you're trying to do, but I'd suggest trying to roll off some of that low end. Makes your vocals sound less muddy. Play around with EQs and find something that works for you. Play around with a flanger. The flanger will do a lot for getting that effect you are looking for. It gives it that harsh sound you hear in bands like Psyclon Nine and Hocico. a bit of distortion and reverb couldn't hurt, either, but I think most of it is in the flanger.

  • Thanks for the tutorial mate. and to the guys with their tips as well. Cheers

  • Thats a terrible way of doing it lol

Thanks for the tutorial. If you can't sing ( which I doubt you can't you just think you can't ) then just talk in a deep voice with sustain and then do the same thing you did with the whisper technique. Then layer them both and if you do it right you should have better depth. You don't really need to yell or scream into the microphone. It's actually better to record your voice at talking level or a bit louder.

If I remember correctly it's @ 73dB but don't quote me on that.
