@lonewolfhayato It's called Nazi Germany because the Nazi party was the reigning power at the time. Communist Russia, Communist China, and Fascist Italy are all similar instances of adding the reigning political power of the country to the name to distinguish that period of time. We don't still call it Nazi Germany, but when referring to Germany under Nazism's stranglehold it's called Nazi Germany. And since Nazism was the most well known form of fascism, it makes sense for him to reference it.

Why? That's just what people call germany when they refer to the time when the nazis were reigning. He tries to explain there theme onstage (rock fascism like eg. "nazi germany"). Some people also call it "Hitler germany". He is not saying that all germans are nazis or anything like that, he's been to germany a lot so he knows better! He is just referring to the history of the country, so there's no reason to feel awkward!!!
