Just chillin' on the Oregon coast at Cannon Beach right after the sun dipped below the horizon for sunset and watching as my camera exposes a nice long shot.
@HardyLilMonster f/6.3, iso 100 and 30" for your frame rate. the lower the f stop, the brighter the image, but an image too bright may make the image look too much of one color on long exposures. so set your f stop to a slightly bigger number. if its completely night time, set it as low as it can go. USE A TRIPOD! and always use a timer or a remote. never start the exposure right when you push down the shutter or it will shake the camera and mess it up.
