I can't listen to Tarja's solo music. Everything the background and the over layering of her voice makes it sound so fake and American pop-ish. I love Nightwish with or without her. For a while, I couldn't even tell there were two different singers. I listened to the music as a whole, not just one person. It was a BAND that made their music, not just her. After she left, absolutely NONE of the other members lost any talent and their music was still unique and amazing. Tarja or no Tarja.

@Gice8 My original comment is a thoughtful and personalized analysis of her current music and the situation between her and the band. And posting has nothing to do with listening, so a question such as "if you don't like her style then why post," is quite silly and childish since the two have nothing to do with one another. I wasn't bashing her, I didn't say she sucked or anything. And my opinion was not of you. So may I ask, why are you being personally offended by my opinion of another?

@Gice8 You're right, I didn't expect you to respond because I had hoped you would be sinsible and sourteous enough to respect another person's opinion. The mixing is completely different from the type of mix that was recording when she was with Nightwish. I posted my opinion because when I listened to this song to hear how she sounded on her own, I saw a lot of degradation of Nightwish after losing her, when in fact, to me they sound no different. Her talent was not connected to theirs.

@Gice8 She really has. And if you'll really read, I said that the LAYERING of her voice is what makes it sounds like American pop. The layering and mixing has nothing to do with her actual voice, so your response is invalid. The style is slow and boring and while her voice is the same, her music itself is not. But then again, I have my opinion, you have yours. And that's the end of that.
