Rap is a part of Hip Hop culture, so what part of Hip Hop is Nicki representing when she isn't a rapper ? Is she spraying wholecars or something ?
Perhaps she's really into streetball, don't know her too well, to be honest . . .
Anyway, your whole Hip Hop - rap - argument doesn't seem all that sound to me, then again, to each his own, I guess.

Nicki is hip hop, rye rye is a rapper. Nicki can rap but Rye rye can blow a beat up where nicki almost always can't find the beat... She just says words that rhyme with no rhythm.
