Wovenhand - SXSW 09

Midst the commercials and rock and roll predictability there was this... David Eugene Edwards and his band Wovenhand are from Colorado but they mostly play Europe 'cause they get the respect they deserve there. If Geronimo had written the Book of Revelations and had a rockband they might be this profoundly powerful.

i shot for SXSW for 6 days and Wovenhand seems to be one the most important things there, so i'll post at least 2 more mixes from that set over the next couple of weeks

Since David Edwards never plays any song exact the same way twice it could be a hundred clips of the same song that still would be appreciated by people like me. Edwards is more than singer/songwriter, he is an artist and part actor on stage. Absolutely fascinating to see!
