I don't believe they were unstable. I believe that was just a lie made up by EON to make the public believe that EON were doing them a favour.

shame to see em down, if a big company like e.on can have the power to drop em on grounds of being unstable why didnt they make em stable. and save a great land mark.....e.on has summat instore for the land you bet.sheffield an rotherham has lost a good land mark.
