This is my pass for rough timing, just feeling things out still, getting a sense of timing and a feel for the dialogue. Trying to see what I can do for polishing, and pushing the splines to see what results I will get, subtle changes. but all in all, this is what the end result should follow in terms of idea and blocking. The lip sync isn't done of course neither is the facial animation, nor is the shot itself.
I completely agree with fonzu, though doesn't hurt to try.

Stick to 2D. Seriously. Your 2D work's amazing. 3D's overrated.
