hey rcplanetim here... yea that sounds like a good way to set it up.. that looks like exactly what happened... hey i got another motor for my catalina in just today!!!!
i have already installed it and test flew it with a 10c 3 cell 1300 mila. battery.
it flew great i even did a few low passes.
going to try to get it on youtube mabe by tomarrow.. if i can get anybody to go with the camera!!ill let you know when i make the video rcplanetim

yea i think it glitched out on you
everything was going along just fine and it took a twist all on its own.. yea you had radio or speed controler problem.

you are right. the plan say to use one speed controller for the 2 engines, but i have used 2 speed controller one for each engine. (in this way i can handle the plane on the water and let him turn on a coin using only one motor)one with bec the other without, i forgot to program the slow down in the speed controller instead of the cut-off. and that is what happened, the spped controller with the bec have cutted off the right motor (for low voltage) but not the left one.....

sorry about that.. i have a catalina also
i have a video on youtube where one of the motors quit on me. i have flown planes my whole life and i am 47 i could not really tell what happened from this video
but usually the pilot can.. if i get a glitch of any kind i know it

hi, thanks for your words, yes i've recovered the airplane and all the electronic but not the reciver.... next time i use a schulze marine :)
