btw installing games to your hardrive makes games quieter, you don't have to listen to it spin around, also maps load faster and so does the game

oh so that noise at the beginning when you turn it on is normal.. phew it only does that when theres not a disk in the tray

mine makes the exact noise!!...but i got a job and i haven't played my 360 elite as much as i used 2...i think u have to play several hours for the noise 2 go away

can anyone tell why my xbox sounds like someone put a tiny little rock ( like the size of a bb gun pellet) on top of a piece of metal that is vibrating really fast its like so annoying

I have bought my 360 elite yesterday and I have the "feeling" that it makes more noise than yours and it makes the same noise in full game . I have instal the game n the DD but nothing change ;. . I am going to make her change. Look my profil for listen my Xbox 360 Sound plz.
