"Of the writing of books there is no end..." I just watched a NOVA on String Theory. This is what she says about the nature of things: S&H p263 No new creation There can be but one creator, who has created all.
21 Whatever seems to be a new creation, is but the discovery of some distant idea of Truth; else it is a new multiplication or self-division of mor-
24 tal thought, as when some finite sense peers from its cloister with amazement and attempts to pattern the infinite.
@alpidistra No, I'm not kidding at all. Whats the point of posting deceptive comments where you hold the exact opposite opinion? How are people supposed to understand what you intend? Secular science is already proving the nonexistence of matter as interpreted by the senses. 97% of an atom is empty space. Matter is illusion because all is energy (Spirit).
it's really wrong to mix christian science with this course in miracles thing. there's no such thing as a "master teacher" in cs, we don't worship persons but try to practice a SCIENCE here.
It's so simple. Christian Science teaches that the material world you see is an illusion, and that your thoughts are all that there are. So if you change your thoughts, you change the world.
Christian Science uses a vocabulary as any other religion or science uses. Often the reader or listener gets caught between what they might consider to be either too logical or sterile sounding. I suggest you keep an open heart when you read the writing of Mary Baker Eddy. She never claimed to be anything but a messenger of God. Nothing more and nothing less. There was nothing she did outside of what Jesus taught. She worshiped the one true God. The measure of her faith was perfect healing.
