Note that the name Franco does not appear on any of these Zairean singles. So this one was composed by Lo Kanga Lwa-Djo Pene Lwambo Makiadi. And the orchestra is called T.P. OK-Jazz. Vocals: Franco, Josky, Boyibanda and probably Lola Chécain, whom I also think is responsible for some percussion later on in the song. Franco & Simaro: guitars, Decca: bass, Ntoya: batterie, Dessoin: percussion.

  • Infact makiadi was also reffered to aboubakar Sidikh when he converted to Islam

  • Ya! thanks for clarifying that. I had started to wonder about franco and Lwambo Makiadi!

  • Aboubacar on your information I get the feeling you are writing as if Franco and Lwambo Makiadi were two different people they are one and the same.
