Someone says Ktm 690 enduro isn't a bike for extreme offroad... also most of the videos around show 690e performing tracks that also a 990 adv, or even a GS 1200 could pass. But not here: an ancient mule track, built centuries ago by men of a village at the bottom, to bring the wood for warming in the winter. We're approximately in the center of Italy, 60 km far from Rome. Helmcam doesn't show how the hell is STEEP, but you can deduce it if you consider that the sprockets on the 690 in this video are 14-52... almost all done in 1st gear. (using Pirelli MT 21 Rallycross rubbers 0,9 bar). A lovable bike
@rtodahl01 friend i've had 10 years long a XR 250, i know that kind of weight and capabilities; I can say that if you get enough sport training, mostly to your hands and arms and breath stamina, you would do almost everything with the 690... simply you'll become tired quicker than on a lighter 250 cc. but I'm a 64 kg and 168 cm guy, and I manage to bring almost everywhere the 690, so if you are just some bigger than me... no problems. it's really a surprising easy bike. a LOVABLE BIKE!

I have a WR250R. Love it but not as much power as I would like.
If you are familiar. How comprable is the KTM to the Yamaha WR250R in the tight woods?
