I can't believe this guy, trying to squirm and justify something that is morally wrong so that he and his buddies can make a LOT of money from web users. Get a life Kent, nobody with even an ounce of brain matter is buying your tired corporate bullshit patter speak.

It's like looking through someones window to watch what products they use so you can then stick up advertisments outside their house for things they might also like.
Who wants that?

As 121Media failed - having been exposed for installing rootkits piggybacked on 'freeware', you have come up with the brilliant idea of bypassing the informed, and going to ISPs who simply share your vision of 'easy money'. Don't you dare misdirect the media one more time when they ask you about the legality of your system by referring to 'BT, Virgin Media, and Talk Talk of course following Due Dilligence'.

You are stealing my Intellectual Property, to which I have granted limited - and non-redistributable - rights to my customers for the purpose of providing a service to them. I have not, nor will ever, grant a third party the right to misuse this for any commercial gain, and especially unsolicited advertising.
-
I do not give you consent to intercept communications with my customers. By EU law (and you have already conducted illegal trials with ISPs subject to EU law), consent from *both* parties (browser user and site owner), must be obtained, and not ignored.

did anyone ask for this? piss off wankers.

How much will BT Virgin or Carphone Warehouse be paying me for my datastream? Without my data Phorm does not work. Withouth my datastream Phorm is not going to earn £85million for BT alone.
Make me an offer. I start at 1p a byte.
If I was you I would leave BT - they have just started their money making wiretapping so-called 'service' Webwise.
This guy Kent Ertugrul is a complete twat. BT are not offering any reduction on the broadband fees for this money making shit and it certinaly doesn't make the internet 'better' as it depends on abusing some internet protocals to shoe horn this shit onto users. Basically if you're happy for BT to evesdrop on all your phone calls - then 'Opt-in' to WebWise - it's equivalent!

Kent, I have spent a significant portion of my life building a legitmate company, and invested time, effort and money providing a service that people have decided they want, not by me intercepting their private communications, but actually taking the time to offer something of use. I think you might guess, that is not 'advertising'.
