just saw them play last night in bournemouth supporting stiff little fingers - absolutely great. he's not the pretty boy he once was, but true true, original punk rock sound.

He lives in Brighton. I heard he was putting on a gig soon of rock cover songs, if i hear more details I will post them.

Loved this band,something about his singing and their straight-ahead rock sound. This interview was great- the phone is ringing and nobody seems bothered to answer. Gene never lost his train of thought. Cool guy all around to me.

God, thanks for posting. Gene October actually was my hero. I often spotted him around Earl's Court Station between '92 and '94 when I lived nearby and regret not having talked to him as for me he was too great. Does anyone know whereabout of him?

I am a huge fan of this band. They are by far my Favorite British Punk Band. Gene has a great voice and Songs like Right to work Urban Kids and No Flowers are awsome song.

My fave has always been Look at the outside.How he manages to still look pretty young is bloody annoying though,ha!
