@toddcharry -Agreed. When Theresa became a regular, the show got worse. When they added Stephanie, the show STUNK! But it still remains one of the best shows of TV history imo.

I believe she also played the nurse who checked in Archie - in the episode Archie's Operation Pt. 1 . . . I agree that once Edith died after a few episodes of Archie Bunker's Place the show went from bad to worse. Why O'Connor was angry over it's cancellation is hard to understand. I don't see how they could have saved it - and it was never going to regain the glory of it's past. Not with all the main chracters gone. (Even the return of Gloria didn't help.)
