Kiyoshi Kurokawa (born in 1936) is Professor at the National Graduate Institute for Policy Studies and Chairman of the Health and Global Policy Institute of Japan. In addition, he is former President of the Science Council of Japan as well as the Pacific Science Association. Due to his appointments at various renowned faculties, Kurokawa has extensive knowledge of the education sector.
Beforehand, Kurokawa served as science advisor to the government of Japan for the Ministry of Education, Science and Culture. In 1999, he received the Order of Purple from the Government of Japan for Excellence in Academic Achievements. Kiyoshi Kurokawa graduated from the University of Tokyo in medicine.
