all right thanks for the information

If I hadn't seen the video, I would think that the sound would have come from a quite modern synth. Amazing what an EX-1 could do and still can!!!
Hope you keep and maintain it well!

Ok Miguel, so the EX1 didnt have a rotatory speaker (Yamaha Leslie), and what about the EX2? I've heard that the EX2 is the equivalent of a E70, difference is that EX2 is a stage design, so if the E70 has a built in rotatory speaker, the EX2 too? or same speaker as EX1? Thanks and cheers.

@decatlon14 The EX-2 comes with one TX-III loudspeaker instead of 2 units as the EX-1. The EX-2 does not have a standard rotary loudspeaker similar to the E-70 drive built into its cabinet. You can however hook up the EX-2 to a Leslie. Moreover, the EX-2 has a couple of more minor features than the E-70.

@decatlon14 Thank you! Yes, the E-70 shares a couple EX-1 features: Flute register and "orchestra" (poly-synth) banks, some typical synthesizer controls, etc. The E-70 does not have the third monophonic synth manual, sample and hold, and other synth-related modulation features. The E-70 however has a built-in rotary loudspeaker which is great! With that "round" of instruments releases Yamaha replaced their EX-42 and GX-1 prototype with the EX-1 at the top of the line, and the E5-AR w/ the E-70
