Demonstration of Vela Field BIM with Autodesk Navisworks on an iPad

This video demonstrates Vela Systems Field BIM for commissioning, handover and operations. The processes of scanning equipment in the field (a mechanical room) using Vela Mobile: iPad, updating information (like serial #) on the piece of equipment, reviewing documents and more are reviewed. The field information is then synchronized with Vela Web for further review and updating in the office. Lastly, the field data is automatically synchronized with Navisworks, updating properties in the Navisworks file, linking files and providing a color-coded status of the progress of the equipment on the project.
