  • The only this is, that against a very strong opponent, grabbing and holding the wrist like that for long enough (even 2 or 3 seconds) is VERY difficult.

    Any suggestions ?

    Thanks !

  • so this is like a modified seoi nage right?

  • @cburcinc Everything is difficult without a Gi if you have a good opponent. Most of the grabs and locks are not definitive in freestyle or grappling so you need to catch him off guard.

  • its difficult to try on any fat guy

  • can i see this in slow monition? haha

  • a mirrored reverse Seoi Nage`?

  • Lol ill have to try this out on my friends xD !

  • It happens when your opponent is when your opponent is pushing you backwards. Often times, If you try to knee from here, you'll be thrown off balance because they have control of your wrist and head. To stop this, roll your wrist out of their control and throw a horizontal elbow to the temple, free your head, take full clinch and work your knees. if they half shell guard when you free your hand, throw the elbow uppercut instead. If they released your head to throw, free your hand and clinch.
