The following presentation, and all of its content, is developed by Michiel Frankfort & Wiebe Giebels, during their European Media Master of Art (EMMA) graduation at the HKU Hilversum The Netherlands 2009.
The Character Lilly is performed by Hilde Segond von Banchet, using optical Motioncapture (thanks to the University of Utrecht) and face capture (Autodesk Maya custom build plug-in).
This footage is realtime rendered and recorded using Epics Unreal Engine 3 and is a preview of a interactive movie-short in the making.
Enjoy this brief presentation!

  • really cool and interesting athmosphere. Some parts have to be improved (like the room, at the end, mor things in it and change the wall textures so that i doesnt look so "boring" (dont know how to describe it in an alternativ way ) and mabye put some rubbish on the street, because it looks relatively clean in comparison to the big hils of stones etc. of teh destroyed houses, but all in all i was suprised by the style and the city part, and i liked that u see one character acting

  • just one question: what is the music ? IT is great , mysterious, dramatic and creats tension too ..

  • Wow this is awesome! I had just one question, I'm trying to enter 3D Special FX this year, and I showed my portfolio to a teacher there, but he said that you weren't allowed to use games for your movies? Could you please explain? This study looks very intresting to me! :)
