baby climbing out of crib at 13 months

At 13 months I wanted to see how she got out of her crib. After she climbed out of the crib she was never put back in for safety reasons.

All babies do this. A crib is only meant up until 1 year and then a bed. A good side so that they don't roll out at night- REALLY well screwed into the base, under the mattress, and then they get out of the foot end in the mornings. Babies are little monkeys, and amazing how they can bend and climb-I hope yours didn't fall!

I swear, kids are born with the Houdini gene! I remember when my oldest first got out of her crib (well, first we knew of her ability to get out) one morning I'm sleeping soundly and hear "hi mommy" half asleep I just automatically responded with a "Hi baby girl" a second later the information caught up with my brain and my eyes flew open, and there she was with her tiny self standing in the doorway. lol Looking all proud of herself. Had to make a trip to the store for a child bed that day lol

@firestarterri - cute story that was what happened to me..I just wanted to know how she did it and when I realized she wasn't swinging from the drapes or I couldn't move some other furniture, I had to get her a new bed...well I moved her into our bed for awhile..I was horrified of the thought of her injuring herself.

Please don't post nasty comments about this video. I love my baby with all my heart and I could not believe my eyes and wanted to know how she did this. I caught her when she climbed over and after this video, she did not sleep in that crib again.

Just an idea to future parents, when my little cousin tried this, his mom flipped his crib around, so that the higher side was in the front.

I remember when i did this. I thought i was being punished, but it was just my bedtime! I cried my eyes out that day

I did this when I was a baby. I also climbed over the baby gate.

When I was little, I would always put shoes on while in the crib, so i could climb out ... i was caught on tape .. ahahha, and there was a tape of me and my shoes were on in the crib, and they were trying to take them away from me and i was crying and screaming ... and i was just a brilliant baby ...

You should consider signing her up for gymnastics.
