comedies are serious: "one day i'll die. and on my grave it will say "here lies reginald iolanthe perrin. he didn't know the names of the trees and the flowers, but he knew the rhubarb crumble sales figures for schleswig-holstein".
-
one of the best speeches of the entire three series.
len rossiter is the best.
notice the fruit association symbols on their ties: two apples and a banana.

Thanks for this! Post the whole of the first series and sod the BBC!
-
These original series should be posted full and the BBC knows it. Jammyvision, many thanks. I wonder what bbc could actually do if someone posted entire episodes? It's the same situation with the Laural and Hardy shorts.

I didn't get where I am today without leaving a pointless comment on youtube.

or perhaps those were two green cocoanuts?....
at any rate, cocoanut is delicious, as well

And on a purely carnal note... who couldn't appreciate that British Fruit Association logo---the banana hanging proudly betwixt two kiwis. Love you Brits!
Cheeky little fruit lovers! ;-)
p.s. One should enjoy banana and kiwi daily. Gives one a glow of health.
I cannot find the other parts of this episode. Can someone post the URLs?

Hey, I didn't post the rest. Mainly because I don't reckon I could get away with it, and secondarily because I only posted this video as a result of a conversation with somebody who'd never seen it. I'd happily post the rest but wouldn't want to incur the wrath of the BBC.
