this is not supposed to happen but im curious why because the xbox 360 has a fail safe that activates when the the xbox overheats or when it thinks its overheating, the xbox usually shuts off on its own.

Uhhhhhhhhh, 3 red rings cause the componet cable cird was plugged in... Its much simpler to jus send it back, plus youll get a 1-3 month xbl card.

Yeah, it only worked for a day...Had to keep doing it. Then it wouldn't work anymore.

SO I had to go out and buy a 360 Arcade and just put my hard drive in it.
