Attorneys routinely send thousands of emails and many never give a second thought about the ethical ramifications associated with emailing confidential client information to clients and co-counsel. From hacking and screen shots to inadvertent disclosure and metadata, there are a number of ways that attorneys can violate their ethical duties when sending and receiving email.
