Rhode Island College's Jim Murphy and Dr. Carolyn Fluehr-Lobban were interviewed on the "Renewable Now" radio show, hosted by Peter Arpin, as part of a fascinating discussion on the importance of beehives, including the beehives here at RIC. They discussed the importance of bees in terms of our food supply, as well as the healing properties of honey. They also discussed threats to the bees and why urban farming and beekeeping are important. Listen to the full transcript of their interview here.
