I think it's a trick bucket. If you'll notice he only opens up one side at once. There are two compartments. I don't know how he made the first bird disappear though.

Il trucco è facile, il secchio ha due aperture, una vuota e un'altra con dentro la papera, lui mostra e apre sempre quello vuoto per far vedere al pubblico che dentro non c'è niente, invece quando mostra la papera apre l'apertura opposta del secchio, ed esce la papera, fateci caso! ( l'apertura vuota la si riconosce dalla direzione abbassata del manico del secchio) la magia c'è solo quando la papera scompare nella scatola di metallo! *.*
