Tegan and Sara: The Nevermind Year Bonus Footage

Canadian twin rockers Tegan and Sara outline the power of music.

This previously unreleased footage was filmed in 2002 inside the storage room of a Montreal club as part of the documentary THE NEVERMIND YEAR which explores the relationship between the suicide of punk-rock icon Kurt Cobain and filmmaker Steven James May's own quest for fulfillment in his 28th year.

Ok first, I do understand that you zoomed in on her hand not her chest. I mean come on people! I get it, cause my brother was in fill for a while and did basically the same thing.

Also I love Sara at the beginning where she's like "No it'd weird!" it was cute. And then I love Tegans speech kinda thing :) Great video!

i totally get what you're saying :) ever since i found out about them.. they have taken over my ipod its like i have every song from each record then i have some demos and banters and other songs that they've been featured in and its like i find myself deleting anything off my ipod that doesn't include them :)

I adore Tegan/ sara to death their love for music and unique talented vocals are one of the many inspiring aspects of the the duo as well as their openeness to their sexual minority fan base such as myself despite the lack what is suppose to be a diverse society the girls strive!! They state constantly what some of us shout out. Tegan: I think of what I'm going to say. But when I wake up, it's certainly not the first thing on my mind. I'm not like, "I'm gay!" I'm usually like, "I'm starving!""
