We focus next on the works of Gustav Holst, who was born in Cheltenham but settled in the Essex town of Thaxted. Aled talks to local historian Andrew Clarke, who tells him of the life and times of Holst and as to why he wanted to live in Thaxted. Holst adapted the music from the Planet Jupiter, for his music "Thaxted", which is forever associated with our next hymn "I Vow To Thee My Country" which is performed by the Coventry Singers. Aled takes a walk in the Malvern Hills, a favourite walking place of our next composer Sir Edward Elgar. Our next hymn is performed by the Arnold Singers (Rugby School), "Jesus, My Lord, My God, My All".
This is produced solely to promote Aled and his music.
