  • is that the same mx that you can buy in like the source?

  • No the ones at the Source are smaller. These were sold at WalMart and similar department stores. Now you'd likely only find them on Ebay, as they've been discontinued.

  • That's correct. I have the 2.5TRX in it now, but started out with the 1.5 out of the 4-Tec. I misnamed the video in error... Good eye!

  • How much did this cost??

  • Already had the donor car & radio equipment to make the sled gas powered. The sled was approx $75 on Ebay.

The rest is just the cost of your time making it all fit.

  • no problem. I have pics of it in the build up stages too.

  • is there a yamaha nitro snowmobile?

  • im making my own with a rush got the gearing done now i need to do the electronics

  • how much is it new?

  • sounds like a crying goat heehee pretty sweet tho

  • I tried throwin in a arti cat F1000 engine in it but it doesnt work i think its a bit to heavy for it and it completely crushed it :(

  • hey can u send me some pics of the build up so i can make one

  • thats cool

  • I used the full drive system from a Nitro 4-Tec. The stock drive gear system was eliminated. My first attempt was an electric too, but found it just wasn't fast enough with the stock spur gear. I even tried multiple pinion gears.

  • hey i got the same sled and i put a new brushless Velenion in it but it was only like walking speed. I just mounted the new motor to the stock transmission and even used the pinion gear that came with. Any advice?
