  • Funny, let the people decide - how about let God decide / you're the same guy Don Preston debated aren't you - enough said

  • @Theophilus32720 Spoken like a true Full Preterist. LOL

  • Futurist have alot of work to do hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha

  • @imsuckingwind Revelation 1:7 "Behold, he cometh with clouds; and every eye shall see him, and they also which pierced him: and all kindreds of the earth shall wail because of him. Even so, Amen." Then there's 2 Peter 3:8 "But, beloved, be not ignorant of this one thing, that one day is with the Lord as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day." Preterists have a lot of work to do. LOL. See? You did all that work for nothing :)

  • @LOUISRUGG OH MAN LOL,,, LET THE PEOPLE DECIDE ;)

  • @imsuckingwind I agree. Let the people decide. People, for the most case, are not retarded. LOLOL

  • You just proved you are ignorant. You are a true Product of Roman Catholic Catholicism. When Constantine mixed Christianity with paganism. You believe in the rapture, the Trinity etc. Probably think Christ died on a Friday and Rose on Sunday. Poor Guy. You are more separated from the Most High than you think. Ill pray for you to

  • I think that the end of Matthew 23 is more about 70 A.D. than Matthew 24. In Matthew 23:38, he said that their house will be desolate, which happened in 70 A.D and then in 135 A.D, when Caesar Hadrian permanently kicked the Jews out (Some made a comeback after 70 A.D. Preterists don't mention this).

When I read Matthew 24, though, a lot of that is future. People will see the Son of Man visually coming. It says that in the beginning of Acts.

  • "some nutcase on the internet"....I almost choked on my chips laughing...and thought as I gave this a serious listen that I was listening to this on the internet! Can we dispense with the ad hominem? Stick to the point and scripture please? For the most part this appears an honest attempt at "a refutation of the full preterist view" but it falls far short in fact. I would very much appreciate information on the "debate with Don Preston"? Thanks! Let's follow 1Thess.5:21 "test all things"........

  • I can simplify "where" you err in your thinking. In such things as "the blessed hope" you must realize Jesus' promises were literal, and were personally spoken to those within his hearing! So logically, "The Blessed Hope" was for those first century Christians he made the promise to! Not future folks like you and me some 2,000 years after the fact. To understand the new testament truths you and need a new paradigm. He said things like; "YOU SHALL SEE" The question is "who" is the "you" here?

  • Check out my uploads for info on Full Preterism. If heaven and earth have not passed away, you are still under the Law (Matt 5:18). Be careful not to be quick to toss around slander such as "heresy" when Jesus himself was accused of such. I'll leave history to repeat itself because if man weren't utterly predictable then we'd never have any problems now would we? And faith must be tested. :)

  • What is so challenging about these verses to the futurist view? Please ask yourself the following question: If the day of the Lord is, as you and I have always been traditionally taught, a time ending, universe destroying event, with people literally coming out of their graves how in the world could the Thessalonians ever have been convinced, as they obviously were, that the day of the Lord had already come?

  • Lou, Is there any way you can contact Don Preston and debate him on full preterism again? The forum could be preterist radio. Michael Loomis would be more than willing to air it on AD70.net. I download podcasts from him regularly and listen to Don's show on his station. I look forward to hearing your opinions defended again against one who teaches exactly as I believe! Since Don clearly won the previous debate I would be surprised if you accept.

  • I find it odd that Lou brags about debating anyone, yet he backed out of a debate with me. Why? Because I've embarrassed Lou too many times on paltalk in front of his friends. Why would you back out of a debate with someone that's too easy to refute? Matthew 21:23 to Matthew 24:34 or Matthew 24:1-34 Let's see who alters, changes or redefines more words, phrases, audience relevance, time statements and/or nature of fulfillment. I'll debate any futurist Christian and prove they MUST every time!
