Achievers Trailer - Stanford Asian American Theater Project

This was the trailer for the 2005 sleeper hit "Achievers," staged by Stanford University's Asian American Theater Project. Written by famed Asian-American playwright Michael Golamco, and directed by James Kung '05, this enactment of the production starred Ann Hsieh '05 as Ellen, Sam Leese '08 as Akira, Bryan Tan '07 as Murphy, Rob Liu '06 as Trent and Rich Liu '08 as the irrepressible Shingo.

Performed over three sold-out nights and a special matinee performance at the Asian American Activities Center ballroom in historic Old Union, Achievers garnered critical acclaim, and set the standard for Asian American theater on Stanford's campus.

Man, watching this trailer makes me feel a little depressed because my friends and I were going to perform this play at Arizona State, but things didn't work out and it never happened.
