  • I own 2 LP's from Cugat , in perfect condition.

No hiss on them . which I could put them on. but I don't have a player that has a PC connection.

  • I just put a lead from the headphone socket on my stereo to the "audio in" on my Mac and record them with Garageband.

Some people just stick a mic in the room. Can sound OK, y'know.

  • Xavier was a great artist, musician, painter and a good person. Unfortunately we no longer have this kind of artists. All we have now is pure rubbish, crime, rapes. I am 78 and I long for those days of glory, great movies, orchestras. Even though we had not a penny in our pockets we were happier than now with so many things at our reach. By the way, I am a Catalonian as he also was. Thanks

  • Xavier Cugat was a real genius.

Earlier I thought Perez Prado was the god of latin music, but now I see that tha father of mambo and rumba was Xaver Cugat.

    Thanks for posting this assembly.
