I took the family here about 7 yrs ago. We went out at night so that they can see the milky way. It was so dark that we could not see our hands in front of our face. When we looked up at the night sky, there was so many stars, they looked like clouds.
There's a point off one of the roads with a sign that reads: "As far as you can see is the size of Rhode Island".
